Fun before the Holiday Season

We had some awesome debates this past week. Do you think schools should have uniforms? What is better dill pickles or sweet? It was fun to talk about things we find important to our lives. We also had a lot of snow last week and had to close for a day or so. I heard the school was closed too! Today 15: We have a Surprise we are open! Tuesday 16: Whirligigs Wednesday 17: Closed Thursday 18: Holiday Party Friday 19: Closed!


A snow filled week!

Last week Ned came in to the NTC and showed us how to use our new cameras! I have never used a camera without using auto mode. I am excited to work on focusing and framing pictures in new ways to tell the magical story I would like to tell. Here is what is happening for the rest of this week at the NTC! Today 9 we are CLOSED because of the snow. Wednesday 10: we will use that snow to go sledding with Nick and James! I will be out of the NTC at Training. Thursday 11: Closed and Friday 12: James has a sweet art project called Nailed it! Getting a look at Next Monday 15: we are closed but come Tuesday 16:I am excited to see the project you have made and we will be making whirligigs to decorate the NTC with non-meltable snow.

First Week of December!

We had a splendiferous meal at the NTC on Tuesday! The homemade cranberry sauce rocked my socks off! And the veggies, bread, potatoes WOW! I heard the turkey burgers were really good too! Thanks for joining us for this meal and sharing time with each other in the Teen Center! Today 2: Teen Council is here again come share your voice with your community of Teens! Wednesday 3: We have screen printing, the holidays are here let’s make a festive T-shirt quilt! Thursday 4: Ned will be with us to lead a Photography Workshop. This workshop will help launch us into the Walk a Mile Project! Friday 5: Foosball tournament at the NTC open to the public from 5-8! Next Monday 8: We have Mad Minute Debates, which is better lemons or limes? pencils or pens? Come convince us of the best choices!
